Special Needs Nanny

- $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
We have 20-year-old twin boys that are non-verbal and profoundly autistic. They both also have significant developmental disabilities and suffer from seizures. We are seeking in-home nanny services for them during weekday afternoons/evenings and full-day services for school holidays and summer/seasonal breaks. Job responsibilities include maintaining a safe home environment and protecting them from injury or elopement; getting the boys off the bus (at our driveway) each afternoon; preparing meals and assisting with feeding; assisting with self-care (toileting, bathing, dressing, toothbrushing, hair-brushing, etc.); providing routine and structure to help them thrive; taking them on car rides in family van; administering medications; providing and supervising ABA type activities per their daily schedule (puzzles, matching games, etc); light housework in primary living area; assisting with the boys laundry; assisting with organization and communications with school team. Experience with autistic/special needs children and/or adults is highly preferred but not required. CPR and First Aid required.
