In home support for indoor/outdoor adaptive activities including treadmill, weights, obstacle course, stretching and range of motion exercise. Bosu, vibration platform, therapy balls, and resistance bands are some of the equipment used. Outdoor activities include swimming, kayaking, adaptive cycling, nature walks with gait trainer or all terrain chair. He has a movement disorder and uses high and low tech communication. The position involves following existing programs and giving input for new activities. A background in fitness, PE, special olympics, physical therapy, sports, or occupational therapy helpful but not needed. All levels of experience will be considered and training provided. Ability to connect, have fun, and a good rapport is important. Schedule and amount of hours per week is very flexible.
