Our son (5) and daughter (3) are in need of care this summer. Both of them have polymicrogyria, and as a result have some special needs/developmental delays. Our 5 year old is mobile and has some verbal communication skills, developmentally he is about 3, so he is very curious. Our 3 year old is not mobile, non verbal, and has a wheel chair/seating system as well as a G-Tube for feeding (she is on a ketogenic diet to treat seizures) They both have been diagnosed with epilepsy and could have seizures but both are on medication to treat the condition. Our 5 year old can have big emotions, but both are very loving and sweet kids.
