Experienced Afternoon Nanny Needed for Family of Six (One Child on Autism Spectrum)

Posted by Onyeka U. on 2/17/2026

  • $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

We are a structured, warm family seeking a dependable and experienced nanny for our four children (ages 11, 11, 6, and 6). One of our 6-year-olds is on the autism spectrum, so experience with neurodivergent children is strongly preferred.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–8:30pm, with occasional weekend support as needed.

Afternoon/evening duties include preparing afternoon snacks for all the children, receiving my son when the bus drops him at home, homework supervision, simple meal preparation, light tidying of children’s areas, and maintaining structure in the home.

We value a nanny who is calm, patient, emotionally regulated, and respectful. We are looking for someone who understands boundaries and maintains professionalism while being nurturing and engaging. The ideal candidate should not be overly authoritative or harsh, but firm, kind, and consistent.

Experience with autism, CPR/First Aid certification, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills are required. We are seeking someone long-term who respects household expectations and parental leadership.
