Our soon to be 10 year-old son is autistic with care needs relating to general supervision for safety, bathing, bathroom reminders, and preventing elopement. A caregiver would not need to be alone with him in the house as one grandparent or parent will be in the house as well. He qualifies for a ccc+ waiver which would allow for anywhere between 3 and 20 hours per week paid through medicaid for caregiving on an ongoing basis. These indoor ccc+ waiver shifts are fairly straightforward, and he cant actually leave the house unless a door is left open.

If your availability is more sporadic, but you feel confident you could help keep him safe while playing outside, we are willing to pay a higher rate directly without using medicaid. The dates we most need someone for this are 4/25-4/25, 5/16-5/17, 6/6, and 6/13.
