Hello! My name is Sadie and I'm originally from Arizona, but recently I've made the decision to move to Anchorage in pursue of a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences along with completing an Associates in Medical Assisting. Like most Arizona girls, I grew up outside riding horses, fishing, and hiking! This sparked an interest for traveling which lead me to explore Australia, Italy, and 31 of the 50 States! I have a passion for yoga, painting, outdoor adventures - fresh air and sunshine are my best friends. While I love being outside, I can't forget that I'm a die-hard hockey fan, go Redwings! Making the choice to move to Alaska from Arizona, not only meant that I was leaving my family, but I was leaving my second family - who I've nannied for 3 1/2 years. Watching their two children from infancy all the way to their oldest's preschool days Read more has been such a rewarding experience! I've been lucky enough to watch dozens of children and nothing warms my heart more than hearing "Can we watch Nemo and color?!" - I've always been able to connect with children especially when they're having their terrific twos or thrilling threes! I've been watching children of all age ranges, from newborn to age 11. I like to spend most of my time doing activities that don't involve watching TV, instead enjoying being outside or being active. While being outdoor, nature loving girl has preoccupied a lot of my time I've also incorporated being a private tutor, focusing mostly in science and english! While I was in high school I was able to take a Child Development course that sparked my interest even more with working with children. After I finish my AAS in Medical Assisting, I plan to continue my education working with children in pursue of an AAS in Early Childhood Development. Being around children has always been something I've enjoyed and I hope to continue being able to be a nanny/babysit!
