Hi there! My name is Rose (www.rosemcadoo.com) — and I'm a pastry chef, artist, and outdoor guide that lives seasonally between Alaska and Antarctica. I'm passionate about the outdoors, I've traveled extensively (both domestically and internationally), and I hold both manners and active play in equally high regard. Returning to a seasonal lifestyle after six years in New York has really made me miss hanging out with kids and getting to build fun relationships with little ones. I have my own car, I don't smoke, and I have my Wilderness First Responder with child and adult CPR certification. I've been babysitting for twenty years - at first responsible for my younger siblings, and since, for countless families. The children under my care have ranged in age from two months to fifteen years old. I'm comfortable with and have experience caretaking for newborns.
