I have never babysat for any families before, but I have worked in various childcare facilities including a before and after school program and summer program called Campfire Alaska, an elementary school where I was working with a kindergarten class. During my school year there, I also led a reading group consisting primarily of first graders. I’ve also worked at a private school for preschool during the school year, as well as during the summer, a hospital based child development center, and a daycare center. Because of these jobs, I have a background check and am certified in first aid and CPR. In addition, I am also in college working toward my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, with only two semesters left until I am a certified teacher for ages birth to age 8 (grade 3).
