Hello! I started working in daycare in Junior year of high school. I earned my childcare certificate in the state of Wisconsin. I worked my way up from a general education childcare teacher for grade school level then got promoted to Childcare Director. After a few years in the position I started to work as a special education paraprofessional as my full time job and childcare director as a part time position. Then, I decided I wanted to pursue my bachelors degree and left both my part-time job and full time job for a childcare closer to college. I later found a job at a chilcare where I was a Floating Lead Teacher for all age groups. I mainly worked in the 4 year old classroom but I “floated” between infant & toddler classroom,2s & 3s, 4k to 5k and school-age classroom. I worked there throughout college. Then once I Read more finished college I did respite care for families that I met through working at childcare. It was been a great adventure! I have since recieved my Masters In Public Health and work from home now. I recently moved here to Alaska and am seeking to make a bit of extra money.
