I am a Senior at Auburn University studying Biomedical Sciences with a pre-dentistry concentration and a business minor. I am very experienced in childcare. I have been babysitting for 8 years. In addition, I worked for Farmington Country Club's daycare center during the summers of 2017 and 2018. Through these experiences, I was responsible for transportation, planning activities, providing meals, and ensuring safety for children ages 6 months to 12 years old. During this time, I also volunteered with Vacation Bible School, coordinating and overseeing activities for preschool-aged children. I currently volunteer for Project Uplift. Through this organization, I mentor an underprivileged child in the community. I spend an afternoon a week with my mentee, a second-grade girl, serving as a role model to encourage academics, good behavior, and values. I also have a Certified Nursing Assistant license. For two years, I provided routine care in private homes for elderly Read more patients, ensuring safety, mobility, hygiene, and comfort. Additionally, throughout college, I have balanced academics and extracurriculars while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I currently serve as the President of Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, the oldest society at Auburn University. Through this position, I have gained leadership and organizational skills essential to childcare. I also have spent over 100 hours over the past two years volunteering for a free clinic. In this role, I assist with patient intake, medication management, and scheduling, helping to widen access to healthcare for uninsured patients. I have learned fundamental communication skills and I have capitalized on my ability to work with others, important factors for being a good care provider.
