Hi, my name is Leah and I have been working with children my whole life. But I have upwards of 3 years of volunteer experience in child care facilities. I have worked with newborns up to elementary age children. I love to do crafts and fun activities with kids and don't mind helping around the house. I am currently attending UAB getting my BSN (Bachelors in Science of Nursing) with the end goal of being a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. So, I would love to spend as much time as possible around kids. I currently don’t have CPR or First-Aid training as my certifications ran over the pandemic and I have not been able to get my recertification , but I can make that a priority if it would make you and your family feel safer.
