Hi, my name is Meagan and I am looking for summer employment before I start my doctoral program in developmental psychology. As someone who is going to be studying the stages of development over the lifespan, caring for people will be a great experience for my doctoral studies. I have experience working with children who have developmental needs. I was a program volunteer at The Bell Center in Homewood. I have also been a camp counselor at the Boys & Girls Club. I unfortunately cannot lift children beyond 20lbs or run around/do sports anymore due to major neurosurgery near my brainstem. However, I am a very creative person who loves Mister Rogers and when I have watched children in the past, I have taught them how to draw & paint, encourage them to make storybooks, or play instruments.
