Hello! My name is Kindy Barrie and I’m originally from Guinea; a small country in West Africa but I was born in Sierra Leone, also in West Africa and raised in New York City. I am multilingual, speaking English, French, Fulani and moderate Spanish so I can also offer tutoring in said languages. I have always had a deep love for kids and their creativity and innocence and I think that they can sense that pure love as children also tend to gravitate towards me and love me back. I also grew up with five younger siblings that I essentially helped raise. My first job as an early teenager was also babysitting my neighbors children. I currently have no children of my own, but according to my nieces and nephews from my sister, cousins and friends; I am the “bestest aunty ever” lol. You may have noticed that my first Read more name has the word “kind” in it. Well, according to my dad, my mom had the smoothest pregnancy and delivery with me and when I was born, I was just the happiest baby and he just knew that I’d have the kindest soul so he named me Kindy. You may be wondering why I’m telling you these personal stories and my reason is simply that as a babysitter, you’d be entrusting me with your most precious and personal love(s) in your life which is a responsibility that I take very seriously so I find it necessary for you to know a few personal things about me and my upbringing in order to give you a little sense of my personality. As far as experience, I think it’s safe to say that it’s a lifelong experience, however I’ve had 4 years worth of paid experience.
