Hi! My name is Shelley Jones and I am currently at student at Auburn University majoring in pre-medicine. I just recently transferred from UAB where I majored in Neuroscience. My major consists of a lot of psychology and because of that I have taken multiple courses on childhood development. I absolutely love kids and have always worked with them. After I graduate from college I fully intend on completing my residency in the pediatric field; mainly because I have a soft spot for all kids. As far as my personality goes I am very fun loving and an energetic person; but I am also very patient. Throughout high school I tutored children at the YWCA and babysat for families who lived in the area. The first job I ever had was at the YMCA working in the nursery with children of all ages. I am certified in CPR (infant, pediatric, and adult) as well as first-aid by the American Heart Association. In addition to that, I am also registered in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant. With my certification as a CNA, I can ensure that your children will always be safe with me. As well as my CNA and CPR certification, I am a certified babysitter through the Red Cross.
