Hi, it’s nice to meet you—I’m Ali! I’m a big-town girl who loves anything outdoors and staying active. You can usually find me cycling, swimming, going on long walks, playing tennis, taking golf lessons, reading, writing, or lifting at the gym. I’m originally from Orange County, California, and moved to Utah in 2019 to attend the University of Utah. I initially studied secondary education but later switched to Communication with an emphasis in Journalism, as my passion for writing really took off. I graduated in December 2022—one semester early! During college, I nannied three wonderful girls (ages 3, 7, and 9) for over two years. I helped with everything from school pick-ups and homework to activities like swimming, violin, tennis, and library visits. I also worked at a daycare for about nine months, assisting with all age groups, including infants. I moved back to California about two years ago and currently work as a front office admin—but I truly miss spending time with kids! I’m now enrolled in an online Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program in Elementary Education, which allows me to pursue my passion for helping children learn and grow. This summer, I’ll be moving to Madison, Alabama for my boyfriend’s internship, and I may stay longer if his position becomes permanent. I love staying busy, trying new hobbies, and being out in the sun. My friends describe me as enthusiastic and full of energy. Working with children has always been something I genuinely enjoy—helping them grow into their own person is the most rewarding part.
