I have done tremendous work with children. I started babysitting my two younger sisters when i was 16. I was, also, a second grade teacher assistant when in high school. I took a community service course and I helped with children class work, reading, and activities. My freshman year of college I was an Americorps member, I a was a student mentor and tutor for k-5th grade students. I am a child and family studies major, with emphasis in Early Child Development. I have taken many courses, which require me to observe and interact with children, from newborn to 5 year old.
