Hello, my name is Lyssa! I am 19 years old, I will be 20 in September. I currently am a sophomore at Troy University, my major is Elementary education. I love love love to work with kids. I am the oldest grandchild, niece, and child in my family so I have had the pleasure of changing diapers, babysitting, feeding, helping with school and lots of other things. As I have not had any paid jobs with children when I was in high school all four years I took a class that allowed us to go to the pre-k that my school had two days out of the week and help the teachers with there students. We helped with lunch time, we played with them on the playground, we went on field trips with them, we would help them with school work, read stories to them, and helped with nap time. Read more It was always my favorite class of the day. The kids loved having us come to their classrooms because it was a way of them meeting new people. I got my CPR certification when I was a junior in high school but I haven't gotten it renewed since it expired. But needless to say I feel like I was made to be around children of any age!
