Hello, my name is Gerika Shakespeare and I am currently a college student at Auburn University at Montgomery where I study Elementary Education. Growing up, I was surrounded by various children including children with disabilities. Throughout high school I was a teachers aid for 1-5 grade and after graduating I babysat on the weekends. What I believe sets me apart from other, is my compassion. I have always wanted to work with children to provide them as well as their parents security.
