Let me introduce myself! My name is Janet Kimberly Fusko, I go by the name of Kim! I am a young and energetic 62 year old with a lot of good qualities when it comes to caregiving! First and foremost, I adore children of all ages. My husband and I have successfully raised 4 loving and responsible grown children. We currently have 5 adorable grandchildren! All of our grandchildren are currently living in different states. I have 2 grandsons in Albuquerque, 2 granddaughters in Maryland and another grandson in Pennsylvania! My husband and I are originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Alabama in March of 2012. Previously, I worked for a Steel Company for 25 years until it was downsized. Then I worked at a daycare center in PA where I was the caregiver in the infant room. I found this job to be the most rewarding of my job Read more experiences. When it was time for our youngest 2 children to go to college, I had the opportunity open up to me to work at the University of Pittsburgh doing research at the Critical Care Department for over 5 years. Some of the research I performed was dealing with Infants and Children up to the age of 16 in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. I also worked in an Administrative position at the University of Pittsburgh at the Regional Biocontainment Center for approximately 5 years. Working at the University of Pittsburgh enabled my two youngest children to have the benefit of attending the University at a discounted cost! Prior to moving to Alabama, I taught 3rd and 4th grade Sunday School for a number of years. I was also the 7th and 8th Grade Cheerleading Coach for 2 years for our local high school and a youth advisor for my local church. As a mother, I spent many wonderful days and nights helping at and with Karate classes, Baseball fields, Football fields, Dance Classes and Cheerleading Events; just to name a few. My most REWARDING EXPERIENCE IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN "BEING A MOTHER AND A GRANDMOTHER!" I can assure you that I will do everything possible to enhance your child's life in every way. I honestly believe that guiding our children is our most important duty in life, and when entrusting their care and well being to someone other than yourself, you will have and find the very best in me!
