I have been a nanny and a babysitter for over 10 years, starting in Washington D.C. for military families. I recently moved to Colorado this year and am reprising my role as a care giver because I believe that it is very important for parents to be husband and wife and for children to have time away from mom and dad too. I believe in keeping in keeping your child's routines even while you are gone for the evening, so you can be assured that consistency will be kept.

I have been babysitting since I was a young teenager. One of my first babysitting experiences was assisting a mother with her two premature twin daughters while her husband was on a Guard Duty. Additionally, I have worked in church childcare, substitute teaching, and as a teacher for students in grades K-12. I have been working as a teacher locally since October 2011. While I enjoy teaching and find seeing students learn very fulfilling, I am looking at transitioning to a nanny position (or a combination of nanny positions) for better work-life balance since I now have children at home. I am regular trained in parenting strategies as well as CPR and water safety courses through my role as a foster parent. I am also open to occasional babysitting.
