I just recently got back from New Hampshire after having a great summer at camp! For this semester, I have jumped right back into substitute teaching and continuing work on my Early Childhood and Elementary Education degree here at UAB. Outside of work/school, I love to garden, read, and going on geologic expeditions....which is just a fancy way of saying I go rock hunting. I have worked in daycare settings, summer camps, day camps, afterschool care, as well as in family homes. Infants are still the newest territory for me, however, I do enjoy being very attentive to things that might otherwise try one's patients. I can keep kids entertained for longer than you would believe, I take directions very well, and I also have one of the best read-aloud voices :)
