Hello! My name is Emily Lane Ray, but I go by E.L. I have been working with kids since I was about fourteen years old beginning with volunteering as an assistant camp counselor at my childhood camp, Camp Briarwood. From there I began to babysit for families in my neighborhood, and my church. Eventually I got a job working for Camp Briarwood at age sixteen and worked as a camp counselor and lifeguard until the summer of 2019 before moving here to Tuscaloosa for college. I am CPR certified and have been certified in First Aid in the past as well. I am a music therapy student here at the University of Alabama, and I hope to eventually work with either children or older adults when I graduate. I am currently a junior in the program.
