Hello! My name is Kara Burns and I am 25 years old, located in Arkadelphia. I’ve been babysitting since I was 12 years-old, with a very big and broad age range of children. I babysat a 3-month-old girl, a 9-year-old girl with two younger brothers, two boys of the ages 9 and 7, and also an 8-year-old boy. In 2021, I worked at Kanakuk Summer Kamp, where I got even more hands-on experience with kids from all over the states, and all different ages! With this variety of experience under my belt, I believe I could be a very big help. I love kids and like to have lots of productive and educational fun! Most of my experience is from the summertime, so I love being outside and playing, really making sure the kids have that time to be active and enjoy the break! In 2023 I transferred from Ouachita Read more Baptist University to Arkansas State University Online, but I shortly left school after enrollment, to help with family health issues. In 2023 I got married to my husband, and we are now expecting our first child in mid August. For the remainder of the school year I am fully available for school pick-ups, and after school care, most importantly all day care for younger kids. During the summer I’m available all day for kids of all ages, doing activities suggested by the parents or just keeping an eye on your babies! I cannot work on Sundays or Tuesdays, and I would be open to working some Saturdays during each month. During the week I would need to be done by 5 at the latest, and on Saturdays I would need to be done by 6-7 at the latest! I have my own reliable transportation and do not smoke. I can help with light house keeping, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, and all pets (I have a few of my own, so I would love to help take care of yours!).
