I have a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. I've been a nanny, for a 3-year-old boy who was visually impaired, and for sisters, a newborn and 15 months. Off and on I nannied for a family with three rambunctious 3 year olds. I've also nannied a 10-year-old for a summer, along with many other babysitting jobs here and there over the years. I spent time co-leading the youth group at my church for a year. I also have other professional experience working in a children's psychiatric facility, ages ranging from 4-17. I've also been the Assistant Site Director at an after school program for children, ranging from Kindergarten-8th grade. Most recently though, I was a caretaker for a girl with Cerebral Palsy, and a Household Manager for a separate family. I love being a sitter. I used to be a sitter for a woman named misty and I used to take care of her daughter emily. I cared for emily from 3yrs old up until she was 13 yrs old. She was such a sweet kid. She grew up and didn't need anyone to look after her anymore but when I took care of Emily I would cook for her, help her with her homework, teaching her how to get the correct answers with showing her work, helped her study for tests, I would do laundry and play games with her. I clean the house. I just have to be shown where things go and told what cleaning is needed. I am very good with kids. I have 3 kiddos I am raising right now. I also plan for another down the road.
