My names is Selena. Although I'm 20, I've had a lot of experience with caring for animals and people. Both young and old. In the spring I will be attending EMT/paramedic school. I currently work my families owned business. I also live in Booneville and I've kept several peoples children in my home, some people I don't even know. Just because they know of me and trust me. I've had several animals, my most recent was a rescue pup. She was adandoned underneath a vacant house and was heard by a passerby. I kept her, cared for her and loved her until she found a new forever home. I'm also a CNA. I've worked in nursing homes caring for the elderly. My passion is people, and animals. I do hear "you can't save them all" a lot because I help every stray I see. I believe that we need to Read more help them and need to provide for them because they depend on us. I've loved and enjoyed every one of these jobs. Simply because even though I can't make a huge difference, I have made a difference in the ones I've helped and that helps me sleep at night. The reason I believe I am good at it is because I don't look at it as a job. To me its so much more than a job and paycheck. I enjoy and have loved each and every baby, elderly, or furbaby I've came across.
