I am a military spouse, and a stay at home mother to three incredible children, ages 5, 7 and 8. Before making the decision to become a stay at home mom, I worked in the medical field for over 9 years. After college, I worked as a surgical technologist as a member of a cardiothoracic surgical team. I have many years of child care experience, long before becoming a mother myself. I grew up working in our church nursery, teaching Sunday school classes and babysitting. I was a Girl Scout leader for several years, and my husband and I are volunteer youth leaders in our church. My family and I enjoy spending time outdoors, boating, hiking and fishing. At home, we enjoy gardening and caring for our flock of backyard chickens! Our home is located at the end of a quiet, dead-end street, on two acres! We have a huge Read more playroom with lots of activities, toys, games and cozy library/ reading corner. For the big kids, we have a foosball table, air hockey table, basketball hoop, trampoline, and plenty of space to ride bikes outside! I have an opening for full-time childcare, as well as before/after school care if feasible. All meals, snacks and any activity fees will be provided. We will be staying busy this summer with many trips to the park, library, pool and other local outings! I truly enjoy being able to stay at home and provide a stable, safe and encouraging environment not only for my children, but yours as well! I look forward to meeting your family!
