Additionally I have provided long term care tor children with heart damage and lung damage associated with prematurity and multiple surgeries and re-hospitalizations. I worked as a nanny in the NICU for many months caring for an infant whose parents had to return to work. In this environment, meeting the challenges of advocating for the parents' wishes while keeping a working relationship with the doctors and nurses. I researched what I could do on a daily basis to help the child catch up in every area. I have also cared for completely "normal" children. The truth is, each child is unique and a delight to get to know. I have worked for doctors, attorneys, politicians etc. for many years. I have thoroughly enjoyed caring for these families. I do have excellent references. I have been described as intelligent, compassionate, responsible , and intuitive. I am often compared to Mary Poppins! I do love children. I believe there is nothing more amazing than a chilld.
