I am a four year college graduate with a degree in science and three and a half years of studies in education. I have always enjoyed working with children because there is such authentic joy, happiness, and honesty that comes from them. I decided to go to college to become a science teacher, but because my husband and I will be relocating to Flagstaff the middle of January 2016, I ended my college career early and settled for a bachelor's in science and math. For the past five years, I have coached competitive swimming for a club team that is home to children ages three to eighteen. I have been a substitute teacher for approximately three years, working with children from first through twelfth grades. I was also a tutor in the School of Sciences at Indiana University Kokomo for three years while I attended college there.
