Hello, my names is Susan! I am currently looking for a family who would appreciate a compassionate nanny who is certified to care for their child(ren). When my own children were young, my husband and I hired a nanny. I understand how emotional the hiring process can be, but we found a nanny we loved and trusted, and you will too! Now, let's see if I'm your perfect Nanny! My most recent position was to care for a family's two children. I began when their first son was born, and stayed on to care for their daughter who was born a few years later. The family recently transferred to Michigan. And, now I am searching for a new nanny position! A little bit about myself, I am a very active and fun-loving nanny! I appreciate children and understand and respect their needs. I have knowledge in the areas of child Read more development, positive reinforcement and time management. I've been married for 25 years, and we have an awesome son and daughter who work and attend college. I am a retired elementary teacher who taught in the Kyrene School District as well as Chandler Unified. Please continue to read through my profile to learn more about me! Also, please read my 5 Star Reviews Sincerely, Susan

As a first time parents working full-time, we wanted to find someone to care for our child in our home. Sue has cared for our son 30+ hours a week for a year and a half, starting when he was just 6 weeks old. For over a year, Sue kept a log of all of T's eating, sleeping, diapers, and activities. I loved getting this glimpse into their day, and I really appreciated Sue's attention to detail. During T's first year, he drank only breast milk and Sue was very comfortable with preparing and using expressed breast milk. Sue was also a HUGE help when it came to T's laundry - and there was a lot, as we use cloth diapers. As he got older and began eating solid foods, Sue also prepared his foods during the day. Our house was always very tidy when we got home, which was no easy feat once he started walking. Sue also enjoyed taking T to activities like story time at the library, and Gymboree classes. She would often tell us about what activities they had done that day, or some new skill he had learned at Gymboree. One of the things I appreciate most about Sue is her easy-going nature - it was so easy to welcome her in to our home. Despite having already successfully raised two of her own children into adulthood, Sue was very deferential and respected us as parents, even though we were still young and so new at the role. She would offer helpful suggestions from time to time, but also asked us how we wanted her to handle certain scenarios. As an example, we did not want to use a 'cry it out' approach with sleeping, and Sue was very amenable to our wishes. We feel incredibly fortunate that we have been able to have Sue care for our son for the last 18 months. Our son adores her, and is always so happy to see her. Sue has made our lives SO much easier. Knowing that your child is being loved and cared for by someone you trust gives you a peace of mind throughout the day. If we have another child, we would absolutely hire Sue again in a heart beat.

Susan is a perfect fit for our family. She's extremely reliable, honest, and has a big heart. Our children absolutely love her and get sad when she has to leave which is always a good sign of a great babysitter. She goes out of her way to give special attention to both my children. We have absolute trust in her she'll take care of our children as if they were her own. She is our first and hopefully only babysitter we'll have. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better person to watch our kids from time to time. I highly recommend Susan to watch your children. You'll love her!!
