I am a 50-something mother of two adult daughters looking for a part time assignment within a 13 mile radius of Williams Field and Gilbert. My ideal match is 2-4 hours a day. The actual hours can vary, ranging from 10am to 10pm (open for discussion). I enjoy working puzzles with children, coloring, building with Lego blocks, reading to and with them, and I enjoy helping parents stay organized with the childrens' homework. I can quiz on sight words, make up spelling word games and activities, and make homework fun! I also enjoy taking children out of the home for outings to parks, libraries, and play dates. I have been a private nanny and a fill-in sitter for 10 years. I also hold a paid position in the nursery of a local church. I have an Associate's degree in Travel/Tourism which I earned on academic scholarship. I volunteered at the Child Crisis Center as part of a community service requirement when I was considering a Social Work path. I hold a valid First Aid/CPR card and Level 1 Fingerprint clearance. I have previously held a Food Handler's card, both for commercial employment and for nanny assignments. I previously served as a Girl Scout leader for ten years, so I know how to entertain, organize crafts, sing songs, and be "hands on". Many families entrusted their children to my care for troop meetings, outings, and overnights.
