Meet Taylor

Dear Reader, My name is Taylor, and I am looking for part-time, on-call, babysitting work. I am fairly new to Arizona, but have lived here on and off since 2020. I am currently permanently settled here and looking for childcare work. I am a college graduate, as of May 2021 from Cal State East Bay in Hayward CA, and I am currently on my post-grad journey. I have spent my post grad time working with Sylvan Learning Center, in the East Bay CA, for the past couple of years. My role there as an After-School Tutor strengthened my passion for working with kids and allowed me to learn some valuable skills. My previous experience in working with children starts with helping my grandmother with her foster-care children growing up, and babysitting for friends and family in my community of the Central Valley in CA; where I attended K-12 in Sylvan Read more Union school district. This shaped me into the person I am today. Having a strong sense of community, and passion for education. I have always enjoyed working with the youth, even in my childhood. This led me to participate in the work-study program during my college career- at the local Hayward Library, for the homework support role. As well as working at the local East Bay elementary school as a tutor. During, my time there I learned a lot about what it takes to work in the education field, and how much I love empowering kids to achieve their best.
