Hello! One of the biggest daily challenges parents face is the logistics of getting children to and from school, various after school activities, and ensuring the completion of homework. I would love to assist! My background is in healthcare and child development and I have also spent more than a decade volunteering in the classroom with Gilbert Public Schools. More recently, I provided transportation to and from school for a kindergartner, including early release days, 4 days per week for the 2021-2022 school year. Happily for them they purchased a home in another city and moved at the end of the school year and my services were no longer needed. Prior to that, I was an after school nanny for just over 2 years, 5 days per week, for a school aged young man. My responsibilities mostly consisted of homework help, school projects, and general care and entertainment until mom Read more returned from work. This job ended at the beginning of the pandemic when mom began full-time WFH and the grandparents lived in the home to assist. My approach to working with children is collaborative - we work together to get things done. A few things I enjoy include playing games, reading, sports, science, animals of all kinds (except crickets, they seriously freak me out), and people.
