To whom this may concern, My name is Alexis Marquez and I believe I am highly qualified to be a babysitter due to my academic background, community involvement, and work experience. I am a current college student at Grand Canyon University and I am pursuing a teaching credential in Physical Education. In my field of study, I am required to complete a great amount of clinical hours. In other words, I have participated in primary and secondary educational institutions such as Granada Primary, Imagine Camelback, and Empower College Prep. In each setting I performed tasks such as assisting teachers with enforcing classroom rules, monitoring students participating in daily activities, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet students’ varying needs, acting as a positive role model for student and colleagues, and creating engaging and dynamic lessons for children and teens. Furthermore, I have also gone through a Certified Nursing Assistant program where it also required me to complete a various amount of clinical hours. A CNA's primary responsibility is to provide compassionate care and help more than 8-10 patients a day with their activities of daily living. Much like a parent taking care of their child, a CNA is responsible for the patients well-being and helping with mobility assistance, bathing and hygiene, feeding, and even toileting. All in all, I believe that I am the right candidate to be a babysitter because I am dependable, responsible, well-mannered, mature, enthusiastic, adaptable, professional, culturally fit, and most importantly seek to ensure that the kids are safe, happy, and follow house rules.
