Hi there! After trading the AZ sun for some PNW rain 5 years ago, I've moved back to the Phoenix area and I am looking to help a family or a few families in this crazy world stay safe, healthy, but to have fun along the way! I have about 5 years of childcare experience and was the lead teacher in the infant, toddler, and prekindergarten classrooms at my main daycare center. I also babysit for families of all diversities. I am CPR/First Aid certified, I have my food handlers card, over 76 hrs of continued childcare education courses, and countless hours of firsthand experience with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. My teaching style resembles that of reggio-emila, hitting close to Montessori; I feel as though nature based programs and spending as much time outside as possible and making the most out of our environment is very important when developing curiosity, creativity, and emotion control. I can help with anything your family needs and I have full availability in my schedule so far! My usual rate is $20/hr, but I work with families on my rates and consider flat rate payments like a monthly payment rate we agree upon.
