Hi! My name is Isabella! I am originally from upstate New York, I now live in Tucson with my husband, our two cats and dog! I love working with children of all ages and have around 8 years of paid experience, through family, friends, and people I have met through many different areas of life! I believe that children are little people with big feelings and I love watching their minds grow, change, and try to understand the crazy world around them. In college, I studied to become a middle school teacher, and I completed student teaching in grades 4-8 as well as substitute teaching in the same grades. Though I chose to become a middle school teacher, I have 8 years of experience with children aged 0-12 and am very comfortable with children anywhere in that age range. I am very down to earth and anywhere I go children seem to gravitate toward my calming and nurturing personality. I come from a very large loving family and have always been the go to person for childcare and the go to reccomendation for any friends and acquaintances. In my free time I enjoy hobbies such as reading, being outdoors, and spending time with my pets. I’ve always wanted to have a little sibling to look after but being the youngest I didn’t get the chance! I found my love for kids when I was assigned to be the family babysitter at all of the get together and I loved it. I always loved making kids laugh and have fun and I never grew out of it. After high school I spent some time with a wonderful company and helped manage the company for just over a year! While working for them for almost 2 I gained so much experience with so many different age groups and it prepared me so much for really any type of kiddo. I’ve been kicked and fought and hugged and loved and I’ve never cared for any kid differently because of it.
