I've been caring for children most of my adult life, from working as a nanny for 12 years for three separate families,, to working as a preschool teacher at Camp Amgen where I cared for Amgen employee's children between the ages of newborn and 5 years. Currently, I'm working as a nanny for an Oak Park family but because I recently purchased a home in the OC and no longer wish to commute, I'm looking for a family closer to home. I'm an outdoorsy kind of girl and prefer to be outside whenever weather permits enjoying walks, going the park, or just playing in the yard. I'm looking for a family that would entrust in me the freedom to do these things with your child and perhaps allow me to accompany them to the library, bookstore, and perhaps even the zoo someday. Along with my college training in early childhood education, my CPR/First Aid Certification, and my 18 years on combined hands-on experience working as a nanny and as a preschool teacher, I am confident in my ability as a childcare provider and after raising my own three children, I understand the importance and worth of quality care for children and will devote myself entirely to making your child my number one priority throughout the day. I don't watch TV unless instructed my mom and dad, nor will I be on my phone unless it's to communicate with parents. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, with a good work ethic and have wonderful personal and professional references.
