Hi! My name is Heather and I currently live in the Boulder area. I am currently on clinical rotations for graduate school, as I am earning my doctorate degree in occupational therapy. I have lots of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including in-home, center-based, school systems, community based and babysitting in the home. Most of my experience includes working with children with autism or down syndrome diagnosis. My undergraduate degree is in recreational therapy, where we place an emphasis on providing recreational services to those with disabilities. I have been working with children and adults with developmental disabilities for 10 years now and love every moment of it. I am the most available on weekends, but would be willing to do occasional babysitting during week day evenings.
