I started babysitting when I was 12 yrs old. That’s over 46 years of experience. I’ve been a nursery/preschool teacher at church as well as Jr/Sr high youth leader. In the past I also did childcare full time during summer breaks. I was a SAHM to 2 children, who are now adults, and did home daycare when they were young. I was a volunteer in my kids classrooms and served on the PTO. I currently have 3 Great-Nephews and 1Great-Niece (8yrs and under) who I have provided short and long term childcare for. They all call me “Nanny Sharon”. I also do pet sitting and was a 24/7 caregiver for my father for several years. My CPR and First Aid certifications are in process of being updated. I am pretty laidback/relaxed temperament but still appreciate routine and tidiness. I like to have playtime and silliness along with structure and discipline. Read more I enjoy taking kids to the park, rec centers, library programs, museums and occasionally the Mall to ride the carousel or a movie. I am pretty flexible with days / hours. I have my own car that can accommodate 2 car seats with possibly an additional booster. I’m happy to talk or meet and answer any other questions you have.
