I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy working with children and being a positive, supportive presence in their lives. Watching kids learn, grow, and build confidence is incredibly rewarding to me, and I strive to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. I have experience working with children in both educational and home settings, including working in a daycare with children ages 3–5, where I supported daily routines and learning activities. I am currently working as a paraprofessional with 4th-grade students at a charter school, assisting in the classroom and supporting students academically and behaviorally. In addition, I regularly babysit children for family friends. I am working toward my degree in Sociology at Arizona State University and plan to earn my teaching certificate after graduating. I start my program online this fall. My long-term goal is to teach juveniles in the Read more prison system, but I plan to first teach elementary students, specifically kindergarten through third grade. I bring patience, strong communication skills, structure, and empathy to every childcare setting and am passionate about education and child development.
