My name is Sara, I am 26 years old and living in the Biltmore are. I have run an in-home daycare for over 5 years, I have professional teaching experience as an English teacher, I taught students between the ages of 3 and 4, and I was also a youth counselor at the YMCA. I received my bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Northern Arizona University in 2012. I also have a 2 year old son, but I only bring him along to jobs if the parents are comfortable with it. I find that he is a great asset, especially if I am baby-sitting for the first time, the experience is more like "a friend is coming over to play" vs. "mom and dad a leaving me with a stranger for a few hours." I am looking to provide baby-sitting services, either in my home or yours. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, I drive a Honda Pilot. I love teaching kids, and spending time with children. My son and I spend time outside, read, learn on the computer, and play educational/bilingual games. I am also CPR certified and have had additional training in food safety and meal preparation. I am available on evenings Monday though Friday 4pm to 12am and at any time on the weekends. The job I have now is flexible and if you think I'm the right fit we can work together to come up with an appropriate schedule. If you would like to use me just as a back up or date-night sitter that is fine too! My typical rate is $8-$10 per hour for one child, and $5 per hour per child for multiple kids, but I am flexible based on your needs. References are available upon request.
