I have always had a connection with children and enjoy caring for them while helping them grow. That is the main reason i decided to major in K-5th grade education. I am currently working my way into being a full time online student at the Maricopa community college program. I have earned about 50 hours of service learning experience with grade school children. I was a teachers assistant for a first grade class as well as taking part in an on campus spring break kids camp. I also posses experience in private tutoring with a fourth and fifth grader. I help the children in their homes with homework, projects and catching up on subjects that they might be falling behind in.
