Thank you for taking an interest in my profile. My name is Stephanie and I am originally from South Africa. After I obtained my Bachelor's degree in 2009, I applied for my first childcare position. This decision took me across the globe to Geyonsangnamdo province in South Korea. I worked as an ESL Kindergarten teacher at a private school for a year and a half. The ages I worked with ranged between four and six. The subjects I taught were English, Cooking and Art. From the Kindergarten position I moved on to be an ESL teacher at a public school. I worked at three different Elementary schools over the next three years. During this time, I also tutored students part time at a private all boys high school. On occasion, I had to conduct Adult ESL classes for my fellow teachers as well. My journey continued when I decided to Read more move to the States in 2014 to be with my husband, who is a born and raised Phoenician. In 2015, I began working at a private Preschool. I was the lead afternoon teacher for the Kindergarten class and in the mornings I rotated between the infant and toddler rooms. For the kindergarten class my duties included the following: lesson planning; teaching life skills; art and science; helping with homework; serving snacks and lunch; accompanying students on field trips and corresponding with parents. In the infant and toddler rooms, my duties included the following: teaching and implementing baby sign language; diapering and potty training; serving and feeding snacks, meals and bottles; music time; story time; art; outside playtime; helping students settle down during nap time; and charting information onto classroom IPad e.g. naps/potty/meals/parent notes. From 2016-2017 I worked as a Nanny for a wonderful family in Dessert Ridge. I am currently a full time administrative assistant with availability from 4pm every day. On Sundays I work in the infant room of a local church.
