I am 46yrs old. My career was working in Home Health & Hospice Care for the elderly. Unfortunately due to a car accident I was no longer able to continue w/ the physical requirements for that kind of work. I miss it dearly. As much as I lived working w/ the elderly I enjoy working the same w/ what I call little adults. Hourly or per day prices are negotiated w/ each family based on their individual needs. I have no standard set prices. (Pic Above) These are my last 2 kids I was babysitting. I was picking them up from school as well as staying w/ them over the summer. I have worked for family's & in daycare centers in my 20’s as well as having raised my 27 yr old son as a single mother. I have 6 younger nieces & nephews who are still in elementary and middle school who love when Auntie Lori comes to visit. (I'm the fun Auntie lol) Each time I go visit we all pick out a new boardgame as well as some arts/crafts projects we can all work on together. I always make the most of my visits for them. I always enjoy playing/working on our projects and playing games just as much as they do. It doesn’t matter how silly they are I'll still play w/ them too. Even if I end up w/ getting a whip cream pie in the face (the boardgame) or any other kinds of games kids love to play. I just like doing things w/ the kids that they don't do on a daily basis like watching tv & playing video games (unless the parents give the all clear on those activities.) I know from experience how hard it is to really trust another person w/ your children. That's why I believe I am an excellent choice to be the parent helper that you hire. You will be able to feel more comfortable leaving your children in my care. I am also first aid and CPR Certified as well as a CNA.
