I always babysat/senior sat/house sat/pet sat growing up for people in my neighborhood and in my church. After I graduated high school I was offered an Au Pair position in Sydney, Australia. I went and worked and lived their for 8 months, nannying and babysitting for multiple families. I have worked with kids from 7 months old to 8 years old. I think that if families from the other side of the world (who I had never met until I was there) were willing to let me live in their homes and take care of their children, trusted me, then that says a lot. I am a good role model because I am lucky enough to have a family full of them. I've also seen enough bad ones out in the world to know how important it is for me to be at my best around kids.
