Hello, my name is Arlie Hollister. I have been taking care of children since I was 15 years old. I am 50 years old currently, so I have been taking care of children of all ages for 35 years. Besides working in Corporate Relocation, and Retail Management, I worked for KinderCare in two different states. I am an ARMY brat, and an ARMY spouse. I grew up while moving around the United States which I am grateful for as I have lived in many different states such as NY, WA, MD, CA, LA, FL, and AZ. I’ve lived in AZ for 25 years, having relocated out here with the retail company I worked for at the time, from NY. I worked retail from1994 to 2005, when I joined KinderCare in North Phoenix as a teacher in the Toddler room. When child was walking, eating solid foods, and was off the Read more bottle they graduated from the Infant room to the Toddler room, typically ages 14 months to 24 months, when they turned 24 months they graduated into the Two’s room. I worked in the Toddler room, then worked the Two’s room before I was promoted to Assistant Director. I held the Asst. Director position until I was recruited by one of the parents at KinderCare who told her supervisor about me, and recruited me to come work for her company, Global Mobility Solutions, which is a privately held boutique relocation company. I worked at GMS until 2011 when I got married and moved to LA to live with my husband on Ft. Polk as he was active duty ARMY. We moved back to AZ when my husband retired with 23 years service with the Military Police where his partner was a K9, and my husband a dog handler, in 2014. Since 2014 I have been volunteering at animal shelters, and my husband and I are part of a TNR/Foster program for cats. Previously in my job at KinderCare I held an AZ fingerprint ID card enabling me to work with children, and I am CPR, First Aid certified. I recognize the need for child care in our growing community here in San Tan Valley, and Queen Creek. I am a hard working, industrious person who is dependable, trustworthy, discreet, and willing to follow set routines as children thrive, feel safe and secure when their schedule for the day remains consistent . I will also do light housekeeping if asked, as well as prepare meals, and do whatever I can to set the household up for smooth success for when parents come home from a long day working, and fighting traffic.
