I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with children and being a positive part of their growth and daily lives. I have always had a passion for helping others, especially children and families who need dependable and caring support. Watching kids learn, have fun, and feel safe and comfortable around me is very rewarding. I also enjoy building strong relationships with families and creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. I have over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages, including infants. I previously owned my own daycare and have also helped family members raise their children over the years. In addition, I currently work in respite care, habilitation, and attendant care for children with autism. I regularly volunteer at my children’s schools for field trips and activities whenever help is needed. I also have experience caring for elderly individuals with Alzheimer’s and Read more dementia, which has strengthened my patience, compassion, and caregiving skills. As a parent myself, with children ages 10 and 14, I understand the importance of trust, safety, and reliable Care. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have a Fingerprint Clearance Card to work with children. My experience working with children with autism has given me strong communication, patience, behavior management, and problem-solving skills. I am dependable, nurturing, organized, and able to adapt to each child’s individual needs. I am comfortable caring for infants, toddlers, and older children, and I always focus on creating a safe, caring, and engaging environment for every child in my care.
