Hello my name is Kat Labenski and I am currently a student at Westminster college studying social work and plan on getting my masters in social work to help kids. I have much experience working with kids (7+ years) as I grew up babysitting. While in salt lake I babysat 3 times a week for a family for about a year. I have spent the past 3 years volunteering at AA meetings watching single parents kids as they attend their meetings, as well as tutored Syrian refugee children for 2 years through a non profit called project hope. I am Red Cross CPR certified for adults, children, and infants as well as certified by the Red Cross in water rescue as I worked as a lifeguard. I recently moved from salt lake to Sedona but spent the majority of my time in Georgia working on an animal rescue farm as Read more well as babysitting local kids in my area. I have experience with all ages and like to engage with the kids I babysit by playing outside, reading, playing games,and doing crafts instead of having them sit in front of screens. I have a passion for working with kids and plan on working in the foster care system once I graduate college. A little more about me is I love backpacking and hiking (as I spent two months backpacking the Appalachian trail), white water rafting, skiing, art, crafting, and animals.
