It is SO hard pulling the trigger on apps when it comes to leaving your children, whether it be 30 minutes or all day, with someone you haven’t met and don’t know. But you have won the sitter lottery coming across Sydney (or Ney Ney as my kids call her!). She can care for and relate to kids of all ages. She puts her phone down and locks in with your children playing games, singing songs, doing crafts, you name it. She has an extremely calm demeanor and handles herself well and wisely under pressure. While we’ve never had a true emergency, she has been the best cuddler and care taker when my kids have been really sick. Additionally, Sydney is a good and honest person. You can always trust her to do the right thing even when no one is looking. She truly is a gem ?

I can’t say enough about how amazing Sydney was with my kids. She was our nanny from the time my twins were about nine years old until they began to drive. As a single mom, she was absolutely essential to my survival helping to get my kids to and from school, and to soccer and gymnastics, and to all their volunteer service responsibilities. Beyond the usual she was they’re sounding board during Covid, someone closer to their age that they could really open up to. She was someone who would kick a ball with them or jump on the trampoline or take them to the beach or go surfing with them. She was not stuck in her smart phone, texting her friends, but she was all about my kids and finding out what was important to them and how to make their lives better. I am so amazingly thankful for her, and I still value her as an important part of my life. My kids are in college now and thriving and a testament to how Sydney prioritized the important things. If you were looking for someone to be a positive influence on your kids ,look no further-Sydney is your person.
