I am a 65-year-old energetic grandmother who loves children. One of my joys in life is that my granddaughter lives near by and enjoys a wide variety of activities with me including growing flowers and vegetables. Years ago I worked for a child care agency and since have helped many family members care for their children. It's a privilege to be a part of children's daily lives and to watch them learn and grow. After raising my daughter I returned to college to finish my degree. I have worked at a variety of jobs, but my favorite was owning and operating an organic vegetable farm for 14 years in Burlington, Vt. I am retired now and returned to the Phoenix area to be closer to family. I am active in a women's chorus and a spiritual book study group. I have a reliable car and a perfect driving record. I have a lovely nine year old granddaughter who is the joy of my life. I started out very early doing babysitting for the sons and daughters of my relatives. I worked for a childcare agency several years ago that is no longer in business. I have cared for children all ages. I have five siblings and have taken care of their children and grandchildren over the years.
