Aloha, I am Niah and I am from Hawaii. I am currently a 3rd year student at Arizona State University where I am majoring in Global studies and minoring in justice studies/ pre-law. I love being around kids and creating memory’s that they will have for a lifetime. I started taking care of children at a young age. My love for them grew when I use to place kids in adoptive homes with my mom. We would place them in their forever homes and come back every month to see them and make sure everything is going ok. Later on when I got into High School I had an internship at the elementary school as a student teacher, I taught special needs children, 3rd graders from all different backgrounds and I developed lesson plans to teach class and watch the kids outside as well as taking them to where they Read more need to go. We also developed lesson plans for the kids and learned to teach children in a more energetic and productive manner. I also have many niece’s and nephews who I spend a lot of my time with. I am a fast learner and determined. I love building connections with others and helping where it’s needed.
